Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 16, 2026

1. What This Policy Covers

This Privacy Policy explains what personal information Zuvana (operating its mobile apps under the Zuvana brand) collects when you use our website or apps to browse and book stays, packages and activities, and how we use, share and protect that information.

2. Information We Collect

Account details you give us (name, email, phone number, password); booking details (check-in/check-out dates, guest count, special requests, ID-proof details where a resort requires them for check-in); payment status and transaction references from our payment partner (we never see or store your full card, UPI PIN, or net-banking credentials); and device/usage information such as app version, crash logs, and a push-notification token if you enable notifications.

3. How We Use Your Information

To create and manage your account, process and confirm your bookings, communicate booking confirmations, reminders and support messages, send push/email notifications you've opted into, prevent fraud, and improve our website and apps.

4. Sharing With Resorts & Partners

We share the guest and booking details necessary to fulfil your stay (your name, contact number, check-in/out dates, guest count, and any special requests) with the specific resort or activity provider you book with — they need this to prepare for your arrival. We do not sell your personal information to anyone.

5. Payment Processing

Payments are processed by Razorpay, a PCI-DSS compliant payment gateway. Razorpay handles your card/UPI/net-banking details directly — Zuvana never receives or stores them. We only receive confirmation of whether a payment succeeded and a transaction reference for your booking.

6. Push Notifications

If you allow notifications, we use your device's push token solely to send you booking-related alerts (confirmations, reminders, cancellations). You can turn this off any time in your device's notification settings.

7. Data Retention

We keep your account and booking records for as long as your account is active, and for as long afterward as required for accounting, tax and legal purposes (typically as mandated under Indian law).

8. Your Rights

You can ask us to show you the personal data we hold about you, correct inaccurate details, or delete your account and associated data (subject to what we're legally required to retain, such as completed transaction records). Contact us using the details below to make a request.

9. Cookies & Similar Technology

Our website uses essential cookies to keep you signed in and remember your booking search; we do not currently use third-party advertising cookies.

10. Data Security

We use encrypted connections (HTTPS) and access controls to protect your data. No online service can guarantee absolute security, but we take reasonable, industry-standard measures to safeguard your information.

11. Children's Privacy

Zuvana is not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children; bookings for a family, including children, should be made by an adult guest.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time; the "Last updated" date below reflects the latest revision. Material changes will be highlighted the next time you use the app or website.

13. Grievance Officer

In accordance with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the rules made thereunder, the Grievance Officer for Zuvana is: [Name], reachable at [grievance email address]. We aim to acknowledge complaints within 24 hours and resolve them within 15 days.
